What to bring for a quote that holds up
A price is only as good as the part list behind it. The most useful thing you can carry in is the old part itself: a cracked coupling, a valve that quit, a length of lateral with the markings still readable. Pipe and fittings carry their size and rating printed or molded on them, and the salesman at the counter knows how to read them.
If you cannot bring the part, bring the details. Pipe size, whether it is thin-wall or heavy-wall (the class or schedule), whether the joint is threaded or glued, and the brand of the valves or sprinklers already in the ground. For a new run, a sketch or the row counts and lengths let us count fittings the way you will install them.
Photos from a phone help too when the job is out in the field and the part is still in the ground. Send them with your list to the email address below.

How a quote comes back

Whichever you use, put the sizes and quantities on it and say whether you need it for a repair this week or a planting next spring.
Our experienced salesmen check each line against what is on the shelf and what we can usually have within a day, so the quote tells you what is ready to go and what has to be brought in. Quotes are available on a single part or a full job list.
We do not publish prices on this site, because the right number depends on the sizes, brands and quantities on your list. That is the reason the quote exists.
Chapter 03
From quote to the job
Once the numbers look right, pick the order up at 1811 Thompson Road in Cowiche, or have it delivered. Delivery and shipping have their own page, and the quote is the time to say which one you want.
A quote can be one fitting or a whole new block. For a new planting, pair it with an orchard design conversation, which produces the parts list the quote prices. For a repair in the middle of a hot week, call from the field, say what broke, and we will tell you what is on the shelf and when the rest can be had.
Take the quote home if you need to. We take the time to do it right, and that includes handing you the list in a form you can work from.
